The next installment of the Forza franchise, Forza Horizon 5, will drop 11/09/2021. With developers shifting their focus to the upcoming release, Tom Butcher stated on the most recent Forza Monthly video that Playground isn’t planning new features or cars for Forza Horizon 4 after the Series 37 update.
We’ve made some changes to Forza Horizon 4’s monthly series update…So starting with Series update 38, players who know the game well will start to see the return of content from Series 7 to 32. Think of it a bit like a mixtape, featuring the return of some of your favorite content combined with recently added new features”.

The developers still want players to enjoy the current game with continued photo challenges, backstage voting, rewards, and Forzathon Shop.
