Bomb Rush Cyberfunk has been revealed as being a timed Nintendo Switch console exclusive during today’s Indie Showcase. No concrete release date has been given, but it is slated for 2022.
Developed by Team Reptile (the minds behind Lethal League), the game is heavily inspired by Sega’s classic Jet Set Radio franchise. Players will use their skateboard to grind rails, perform tricks, and avoid the law while tagging the city in their quest to become the King of All City.
The game’s soundtrack is being composed by Hideki Naganuma, famous for his work on Jet Set Radio, Sega Rally, and the Yakuza series.
Bomb Rush Cyberfunk currently has a pre-release listing on Steam, however the Switch is the first home console that the game has been announced for.
Are you a fan of Sega’s Jet Set Radio games, and if so what are your thoughts on Bomb Rush Cyberfunk? We’d love to hear your thoughts!
