During today’s Indie World Showcase, Nintendo announced a slew of new games releasing anywhere from today through the beginning of 2022 on the Nintendo Switch. One of the games they announced was the Nintendo Switch version of the hit Tetris Effect, releasing on the same day as Metroid Dread and the Nintendo Switch OLED Version—October 8, 2021.
If you haven’t played Tetris Effect yet, it is a great game that has the classic gameplay of Tetris mixed with cool aesthetics and graphics. Tetris Effect: Connected takes all of the gameplay from the original game but adds in cross-platform play, with up to three player co-op and 1-2 player competitive multiplayer—both available online and locally.
