The August 19th reveal of the latest game from Skedfehammer Games, Call of Duty: Vanguard will plant its boots in the digital landscapes amongst WWII. Set to release on November 5th 2021, Vanguard will showcase the war from four different locations, including Africa, Eastern, Western, and Pacific fronts. You will tour each front from the eyes of four different soldiers in your time throughout the campaign. Other notable items are that Raven Software will head up the online Warzone crossover while Treyarch will create a new zombies mode that will tie into Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombie storylines. The game will arrive on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4 PlayStation 5, and Windows PC through Battle.net.
With the allocations of the sexual harassment claims against their parent company, Blizzard Activison, Aaron Halon, Sledgehammer Games Studio Head finds it “devastating.” Though they cannot speak about the lawsuit, they want to see every team member treated respectfully, and that “harassment of any kind goes against what we stand for as a studio.”
