At Boss Rush Entertainment, we want to be your number one stop for everything entertainment related: news, editorials, reviews—you name it, we want to have it. That’s why we are excited to announce a new weekly feature on the site: Movie Marathon Reviews. To explain, I first need to give you some background.
Whenever a big blockbuster movie is coming out, I have always really enjoyed doing marathons in the weeks leading up to the movie’s release date. I’ve done this since I was a little kid. A few years ago, as we got closer to the release date of Avengers: Endgame, I told my best friend, Luke, that I was going to start a 23-week marathon watching one MCU movie a week in anticipation of the massive conclusion to the Infinity Saga, and he said he would join me. So, for 23 weeks, we watched our way through Iron Man all the way to Avengers: Infinity War—Luke in Austin and me in Houston. Then, when Avengers: Endgame released in theaters, Luke came to Houston and we went to the theaters to watch the film together.
It was an awesome way to watch the conclusion to that particular storyline, and Luke and I have been doing movie marathons ever since. Usually they coincide with major releases; sometimes they are just franchises we want to watch. And sometimes, we get to alternate picking movies that we know the other hasn’t seen yet. (Quick side-bar: I’ve been sucking at movie marathons lately, and I’m sorry, Luke).
Luke and I are about to start a marathon watching all 10 Spider-Man related movies leading up to the December 17th release of Spider-Man: No Way Home, and I thought this would be a great feature to bring to Boss Rush Entertainment. So join us each week as we review the following movies, one per week, culminating in the universe-bending Spider-Man: No Way Home:

We’ll then wrap it up with a piece looking at the cinematic history of Spider-Man as a whole, after the review of Spider-Man: No Way Home comes out.
