In case you missed it–a date has been set for the Kingdom Hearts 20th anniversary. This celebration was initially announced back in October 2021 when Square Enix informed the public that the franchise would be landing on the Nintendo Switch (Cloud version).
In a tweet from the Kingdom Hearts account, they confirmed that on April 10th, 2022, a live event in Tokyo featuring things such as a Q&A with the developers, an exhibition, and mini-concert, will take place for this anniversary. However, a live stream will not be available, although a video will be accessible later on.
While most fans won’t see able to witness this anniversary in Tokyo, it is still exciting news for the franchise. We can also cross our fingers for any breaking news; however, there has been no confirmation of new announcements at this time.
