For the second year in a row, the Sony San Diego developed MLB The Show will debut into Xbox Game Pass.

Though details are scarce at the moment, it is most likely that MLB The Show 22 will feature all of the modes players have come to love, including a franchise mode and online play. It is confirmed that it will feature cross-play and cross-progression across all versions of the game. This year’s cover athlete is Los Angeles Angels designated hitter and pitcher Shohei Ohtani.

The once previous PlayStation exclusive baseball sim, widely considered to be the best simulation sports game on the market, will launch on the service as well as for purchase on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and for the first time, Nintendo Switch, on April 5.
