We all remember when Nintendo launched the Wii in 2006 and alongside it Wii Sports, which everyone and their grandparents played. Well Nintendo is drawing on the past and pulling at our hamstrings by bringing a new version of the series to Nintendo Switch titled Nintendo Switch Sports on April 29th, 2022.
The lineup includes:
Free update from Nintendo in fall will bring Golf to the software.
Nintendo Switch Sports will support local and online play across all sports. On February 18th-20th Nintendo will conduct an online play test that includes bowling, chambara, and tennis. It will have random matchmaking and play testers must have an online Nintendo membership to participate in the fun.
What do you think about the new Sports iteration? Will you pick this one up? Did you enjoy todays Nintendo Direct? What was your favorite announcement from the direct? Please share your thoughts.
