For all of you New Lights out there, Xur is the Exotic weapon and armor merchant who travels to a different location every week in Destiny 2. His inventory consists of one Exotic weapon, one Exotic armor piece for each class, an Exotic engram that will grant players a non-quest related weapon or armor piece, and an Exotic Cipher quest. Starting with Beyond Light‘s Season of the Lost, Xur has also added Legendary items to his inventory, usually weapons and armor from seasons’ past or old event sets. All items he has for sale will be listed here complete with perks, stat rolls, and any other important information needed for Guardians to make their purchasing decisions. As of Season of the Risen and The Witch Queen, Xur is selling random roll of both Hawkmoon and Dead Man’s Tale every week.
Where is Xur?
This week, Xur is in he Winding Cove in the EDZ.
Cost of Hawkmoon and Dead Man’s Tale
Hawkmoon (Perk: Eye of the Storm) – 125,000 Glimmer, 200 Legendary Shards, Exotic Cipher, Ascendant Shard
Dead Man’s Tale (Perk: Vorpal) – 125,000 Glimmer, 200 Legendary Shards, Exotic Cipher, Ascendant Shard
Sunshot | Exotic Energy Hand Canon | 29 Legendary Shards
Sunshot is a fun Solar Hand Canon with a very cool perk called Sunburn. It causes explosive rounds and highlights enemies who have taken damage. When an enemy is killed by Sunshot, they explode due to its second perk Sun Blast. It’s worth having in your inventory for when Hand Canons aren’t nerfed.
Lucky Pants | Exotic Hunter Boots | 23 Legendary Shards
Lucky Pants are one of the worst exotics in the game for Hunters. The Illegally Modded Holster perk allows guardians to ready their hand cannons very quickly and increases the accuracy for the first shot. They are helpful if you absolutely need to use Hand Canons, but there are quite a few better exotics to choose from. Xur’s stat roll this week is 48 total.
Doom Fang Pauldron | Exotic Titan Guantlets | 23 Legendary Shards
Sentinel Titans should have these in their inventory, especially now with Void 3.0. The Exotic perk Horns of Doom recharge your shield throwing while using your super with enemy kills. Melee kills also give you extra Super Energy and shield throw kills extend the duration of the Super. These are a must buy for Titans. Xur’s stat roll is 48 total.
Skull of Dire Ahamkara | Exotic Warlock Helmet | 23 Legendary Shards
This Warlock helmet is a powerful asset if you know what situations to use it in. Its Exotic Perk Actual Grandeur allows for you to take lower amount of damage while casting Nova Bomb, then granting super energy upon kills. Its been nerfed a little, but still a valuable Exotic to keep. Xur’s stat roll this week is 50 total.
Other Exotic Items:
One Exotic engram can be purchased for 97 Legendary Shards. A second engram can be purchased with an Exotic Cypher, in which only one can be carried at a time.
The Exotic Cypher Quest is free, but Guardians can not pick up the quest if they already have one in their inventory. Exotic Cyphers can be used to purchase one Exotic engram from Xur or be used in the kiosk with other materials to purchase Exotics from past expansions. This week’s quest is to complete 21 of the following: Strikes, win Crucible matches, or win Gambit matches. By finishing the quest, you will earn an Exotic Cipher.
Xur’s Legendary Inventory
Every week, Xur also has a selection of Legendary gear. Each piece sells for 1000 Glimmer and 50 Legendary Shards. This is a pretty steep price for this gear, so only purchase something if you find a god roll or really need a boost in stats and can afford to grab something. Due to feedback for this feature, we will only be listing Legendary Weapons with God Rolls for you. You can still check out the stats at light.gg.
Xur’s Legendary Weapon Inventory:
There are no weapons graded above a B this week.
Legendary Armor | 1000 Glimmer + 50 Legendary Shards
This week’s armor set for sale is the Lost Pacific Set, an old armor set from Titan. Here are the stats per item. Reminder that Class Items stats are always 0.
