In a brief announcement via Twitter, Eiji Aonuma stated that the highly anticipated Breath of the Wild sequel will be pushed to Spring 2023. He stated that in addition to exploring the land and skies, there will be new encounters and gameplay elements to enjoy. In order to ensure the gaming experiencing is “something special”, Aonuma asks us to wait a little while longer while the developers continue their work.

If you watch the entire video, you see some new imagery, including a Master Sword that has seen better days.
