Atlas has confirmed that the long awaited Shin Megami Tensei V has topped 1 million units sold in a Tweet on Monday morning. In the tweet character designer Masayuki Doi created an illustration celebrating the one million sales, which you can see below.

Previous to this installment, Shin Megami Tensei IV for the 3DS was the highest selling entry in the series at 600,000 units sold, but is now in second place.
