Splatoon 3 Gets a Release Date of September 9, 2022

Splatoon fans now have a specific date to look forward to playing the newest entry in the series, as Nintendo announced today that Splatoon 3 will be releasing on September 9, 2022.

The game had previously been announced for the release window of Summer 2022. Along with the release date, Nintendo has shown off a new video of the Turf War mode from the upcoming game.

Recently Nintendo filed a patent on April 19th, 2022, that relates to mini maps in games. This patent aims to create a more dynamic approach to how the cameras interact with the user in a play-by-play response more efficiently.
