Summer Game Fest: New Game Highwater Highlights the Effects of Climate Change

During Summer Game Fest we were shown a game titled Highwater from Demagog Studios. The game, which is set to release sometime in 2022, shows a world full of water and wonder. The game elements combined adventure and strategy as you traverse this world.

The world of Highwater, though beautiful, also gives a glimpse of what climate change could do to upset the balance of nature and humans. As you navigate the waters it seems you will come across plenty of characters and potential enemies. What this adventure has in store for us remains to be seen, but I can’t wait to dive into this title later in the year.
