According to a post on the BioWare blog site, the next title in the Dragon Age series is called Dragon Age: Dreadwolf.
Fans of the series will no doubt know who the Dread Wolf refers to: Solas, one of the most popular (and infamous) party members from the previous installment Dragon Age Inquisition. It was known ever since 2018 that we would see Solas’ character return in the form of a cinematic trailer, and a hashtag #TheDreadWolfRises.

Solas intends to make his presence felt in the next title, but the development team also made sure to reiterate that the game is “at the core of this, like every past game, is you.”
While that’s not much to go on, especially for newcomers to the series, it’s the most significant update we’ve gotten in a while, and it is in line with BioWare’s pledge to bring more updates to what they are working on more often.
“We suspect you have questions and they’ll be answered in time. While the game won’t be releasing this year, we’re growing closer to that next adventure,” the blog went on to state. We also know from a previous article I wrote that BioWare is more than halfway through production on the title, so it’s not unrealistic to think that this game will drop in 2023.
