Aaron Greenberg New Xbox VP of Games Marketing

Longtime Microsoft veteran Aaron Greenberg has recently confirmed that he’s been promoted to become the new vice president of Xbox Games marketing. Previously, he was general manager within the same division for the past 8 years and 4 months.

The move was first spotted on Greenberg’s LinkedIn profile by observant fans.

Greenberg has been a consistent face for Microsoft and the Xbox brand, and has spent the last 25 years with the company. He began his career as senior planner for software in Microsoft’s Latin America division, before joining Team Xbox at various roles.

Responding to comments left on his social media, Greenberg had this to say about his rise in the gaming giant:

Much appreciated, very kind to see all the notes. I’m so grateful for the work I get to be part of in service to Team Xbox and our fans. Excited for the future ahead too!”

Greenberg’s long history with Xbox makes him a well qualified addition to Microsoft’s upper management, and should prove to be a great choice moving forward based on his expertise.
