More N64 Games Coming to Switch, Includes Mario Party, Pokémon Stadium

During Tuesday’s Nintendo Direct, a new crop of N64 games have been revealed to be coming to the Switch via the Online Expansion Pack.

The games Pilotwings 64, Mario Party, and Mario Party 2 are all confirmed to be released this year, with 2023 seeing the arrival of Mario Party 3, Pokémon Stadium, Pokémon Stadium 2, 1080° Snowboarding, and Excitebike 64. It’s been confirmed that each game will feature online multiplayer.

In addition, the famed FPS GoldenEye 007 has been revealed as also joining the service, though a specific date has not been given.

The Nintendo Switch Online service debuted in September, 2018, and included online mulitplayer, cloud saving, voice chat, and access to numerous NES and SNES games.

In October of 2021, Nintendo expanded the service to include N64 and Sega Genesis games, along with access to paid DLC for several titles for an extra fee.

The Nintendo 64 service already has a considerable library of classic games, including Super Mario 64, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Mario Kart 64, and Banjo-Kazooie.
