Microsoft opened the 2022 Tokyo Game Show, sharing several updates on over twenty games from their first-party developers, Bethesda, and other partners. Xbox proudly included news on their partnerships with devs from Japan and China, doubling down on their commitment to the Asian market with diverse franchises.
Xbox announced several Japanese developed titles that will release in the next year, including those in the Persona franchise, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, and Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes.
There were also several games announced for their arrival on Game Pass:
- Assassin’s Creed Odyssey– Available today
- Fuga: Melodies of Steel– Available today
- Ni no Kuni Wrath of the White Witch Remastered – Available today; Nino Kuni II Revenant Kingdom will launch on Xbox in 2023.
- Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony– Available today
- Death Loop arrives on Xbox (and PC) Game Pass on 9/20/2022
- BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle Special Edition– Includes all available DLC (no date)
- Guilty Gear -Strive (no date)
- Dyson Sphere Program– PC Game Pass only on 10/13/2022
Here are bite-sized take aways from Microsoft’s time at Tokyo Game Show:
- Overwatch 2: Kiriko announced as the newest Support hero on 10/4/2022
- Palworld announced for Xbox (no date)
- Exoprimal announced for Xbox One and Series X/S in 2023
- Naraka: Bladepoint update: Second chapter of Showdown will be available in October, and Yushan Ruins, a new area on the Holoroth map, will be revealed soon
- Forza Horizon 10th Anniversary: With a celebratory trailer, Xbox will be sharing more details soon
