Cross Roads Weekend Gaming: What are We Playing? – Episode #19

Welcome back to the weekend and with the fall season getting off to a start, the Cross Roads crew is staying indoors and heading on some lofty adventures!

I’m going to sink some time into The Diofield Chronicle this weekend now that the fall season has kicked off and Square Enix has graciously blessed me with a new tactical RPG. When I saw the original trailer for the game, I knew it was something I wanted to play, despite being underwhelmed that this wasn’t a follow-up to my all-time favorite tactical RPG — Final Fantasy Tactics.

I’m still working my way through the endgame of Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, so I’ll have plenty to keep me entertained this weekend.

I’m moving on to the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla DLCs this weekend, so that’ll probably take me another 30 friggin’ hours to finish.

I’m going to try my hand at Metal Hellsinger again. I seem to struggle with being on beat with the game but I’ll give it another go. It’s a shooter that REQUIRES you to be on time with the drums, and my non-musical brain can’t seem to keep track, even though I’m a huge metal head!

I know, I know… It seems like all I’m talking about is Digimon Survive! I’m working my way through the game to get to the true ending, which I learned cannot be seen until you complete the game in a New Game Plus run.

So, alas, Digimon Survive for $2000, please.
