PlayStation’s Twitter account dropped the newest teaser trailer for the television adaptation of critically acclaimed video game, The Last of Us. Fans have received little content up until now, and this trailer truly is an appetizer for those who are patiently awaiting its release. This truly was timely, as the remake, The Last of Us Part 1, released a few weeks ago on September 2nd.

-The Last of Us Teaser Trailer
The trailer features several scenes that depict a post-apocalyptic world–quarantine zones where people are forced the paint over graffiti left by the Fireflies, human remains collecting dust in a wasteland, and the trademark call of the Clickers. We see more of Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey), and a sneak peak of other characters as well, such as Marlene (Merle Dandridge) and Tess (Ann Torv). There was also a brief clip of Ellie with Riley (Storm Reid), which suggests elements from the game’s DLC, The Last of Us: Left Behind will be included in the show–likely in the form of flashbacks.
Both Neil Druckmann, the visionary behind The Last of Us video game and Craig Maizen, the mind behind Chernobyl, are the creators behind this series that will air in 2023. Unfortunately, a specific date was still not provided. If you haven’t seen it yet, please check out the trailer below:
