Shovel Knight fans, listen up! Yacht Club Games is releasing a one day event for those of you who may be single this Valentines Day for Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon. This Steam-only event allows players to fill out a Google Survey before February 13, adding one ex-significant other to a list that will rename Beetos throughout the game so players can take their frustrations of broken love out on their ex in a comedic, and somewhat unconventional way. Below is the official quote from Yacht Club Games:

Breakup buggin’ you? Practice some selfcare by squashing those bad feels (literally) in the Pocket Dungeon! This Valentine’s day we’re holding a very special in-game event for you and your not-so-special someone, send us your ex’s first name and we’ll name a very squashable Beeto after em in the Puzzler’s Pack DLC Early Preview update! Bash, slash, and shovel drop on these heart breaker Beetos and symbolically get some much needed closure in Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon!

Here is how the event works:

• Send us your ex’s first name via this Google Survey by 2/13!
• We’ll input all of the submitted names into our upcoming Puzzler’s Pack DLC Early Preview update on Steam.
• On Valentine’s Day (02/14/23) the squashing spree will begin! 

This Steam-only event only runs on Valentines Day and ends on February 15, 2023. You can buy Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon and it’s DLC now on Steam as well as Nintendo Switch and PlayStation consoles.
