During the Pokémon Presents that aired 9AM EST on February 27th, the Pokémon Company announced the highly anticipated DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet today.
The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero is a two-part DLC that brings an extended storyline to their latest release.
The first part, The Teal Mask, will be released in Fall 2023. As part of a school trip, you will be adventuring to the land of Kitakami. There you will encounter some familiar faces as well as new ones.
In The Teal Mask, you will encounter the Legendary Pokémon Orgerpon. Known for its scary mask, this Legendary’s role in your adventure is unknown.
Winter 2023 will bring part two, The Indigo Disk. In this chapter, you will become an exchange student at Blueberry Academy.
The Legendary Pokémon Terapagos will appear here. Like Ogerpon, how you encounter Terapagos and what influence it will have on the story remains unknown.
In addition to new locations and Legendaries, you will encounter familiar Pokémon you didn’t see in the Paldea Region.
Preorders for The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero will soon be available in the Nintendo E-shop.
When you preorder, you can access a new uniform set that you can use in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. Also, if you order before October 31, you can secure a Hisuian Zoroark that you can add to your party.
