Games Workshop has released a free short story and scenario for Necromunda, a small-scale skirmish wargame. “Devils of Gunk Deep” takes you into conflict between the defenders of Dust Falls as they face the mutant hordes in the depths of the city. “Devils of Gunk Deep” also contains rules for creating your own mutants.
Necromunda was originally created by Andy Chambers, Jervis Johnson, and Rick Priestley and released in 1995. Set in Warhammer 40,000‘s universe, you command the gangs of Necromunda, a titanic hive city where millions are oppressed to build weapons for the endless wars of the Imperium. A second edition, designed by Andy Hoare, was introduced in 2017.
You can download “Devils of Gunk Deep” here.
Games Workshop no longer credits model designers, painters, and sometimes authors by name. This is unacceptable. As the creative force that keeps the company running, the artists responsible deserve full, clear, and public credit.
