Boss Rush Banter: Which Twilight Princess Dungeon is Your Favorite?

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess gets a lot of praise, especially when it comes to its dungeons.

That’s because it has some of the best dungeons in the series. From their design to their puzzles to their atmospheres, these dungeons consistently top lists of the best in the series.

So which one is your favorite?

My favorite Twilight Princess dungeon is the Arbiter’s Grounds. This entry in The Legend of Zelda is darker than most other games in the franchise and this dungeon reflects that.

It’s the atmosphere why I love this dungeon so much. It reminds me of the Shadow Temple from Ocarina of Time but this area is a former prison. Players later find out why this spot is significant to the game so it makes sense that it is haunted.

I also enjoyed the hunting down of the four Poes as well as the final boss Stallord. It’s always a joy to come across this dungeon on each playthrough.

Another dungeon I really like from Twilight Princess is the Lakebed Temple.

My love for this dungeon is purely based on the puzzle of directing the water to the correct spot. I really like current puzzles and this one takes the cake.

Rounding out my top 3 dungeons from Twilight Princess is the Temple of Time.

I loved returning to this Ocarina of Time mainstay and I do enjoy a good escort puzzle. To me, Zelda games can be hit or miss when it comes to escort puzzles but this one does it right.

While not in my top 3, both Snowpeak Ruins and City in the Sky deserve honorable mentions. These two carry some great atmospheres and fun aesthetics. In terms of City in the Sky, who doesn’t love whipping around like Spider-Man?

It’s hard to pick the best dungeons from my favorite Zelda title. Honestly, each one stands out among the absolute best the franchise has to offer.
