Boss Rush Banter: Which Port, Remake, or Remaster Do You Hope to See Released in 2024?

Now that the big three (Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony) had at least one showcase for 2024, we are starting to get a feel for what to expect for the next nine months. For the Nintendo Switch especially, many gamers and reporters are calling it the year of the ports/remakes/remasters. Say what you will about that, but I know everyone has at least one oldie but goodie they want to see make an appearance. So, which port, remake, or remaster do you hope to see in 2024?

Here are some examples that we already know about:

  • Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
  • Luigi’s Mansion 2
  • Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year-Door
  • Silent Hill 2
  • Gothic

My wish list is sadly vanilla, but I want them nonetheless: The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. Yes, this rumor has been swirling around for quite some time, but rumor or not, I always hoped that these two epic 3D Zelda titles would make the lineup to preserve Nintendo’s streak with the Switch before the next console releases.

In addition, I also am riding the Resident Evil: Code Veronia train. I hope that Capcom delights fans with a remake of this title.
