Summer Game Fest 2024 aired live on June 7th from 5 to 7pm EST, and it was full of announcements and trailers–just shy of 50! And this is only the beginning of an amazing slew of showcases.

Lego Horizon Adventures

• Release Date: Holiday 2024
• Platform: PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch
• Details: Developed by Guerrilla and Studio Gobo, the game is inspired by the events of the Horizon games. Players can team up with friends and family in both local and online co-op mode.

No More Room in Hell 2

• Release Date: Early Access Halloween 2024
• Platform: PC
• Details: Developed by Torn Banner Studios.  It is an eight-player co-op action horror experience.

Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions

• Release Date: 9/3/2024
• Platform: PlayStation (Day 1 for PlayStation Plus), Xbox, PC, Nintendo Switch
• Details: Third person action sports game that allows you to relive your childhood by playing the fictional game, Quidditch from the Harry Potter universe.

CUFFBUST

• Release Date: 2025
• Platform: PC
• Details: Developed by the makers of Choo-Choo Charles, Two Star Games. Break out of prison in this chaotic adventure with friends. Could this be the new Lethal Company?

Star Wars Outlaws

• Release Date: 8/30/2024
• Platform: PlayStation 5, Xbox series
• Details: Additional glimpse of the game. More to come at the Ubisoft Foward on June 10th.

Neva

• Release Date: 2024
• Platform: Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox series
• Details: From the developers of Gris, Nomada Studios. Summer Game Fest showed off a gameplay trailer for Neva, an emotional 2D adventure game with puzzle and platforming elements. It follows a woman named Alba, bound to a wolf cub through mysterious circumstances. Together, they navigate a decaying world to find their very own home.

Civilization VII

• Release Date: 2025
• Platform: All major platforms
• Details: Official announcement of the next Civilization game. There will be a gameplay showcase this August.

Black Myth: Wukong

• Release Date: 8/20/2024
• Platform: PC, PlayStation 5
• Details: A stunning action RPG steeped in Chinese mythology developed by Game Science. Discover the truth as the Destined One. Pre-orders are now available, including a deluxe edition.

Asgard’s Wrath 2: VR

• Release Date: Available now
• Platform: Meta Quest
• Details: You seek vengeance against Loki. Gain allies with the Egyptian gods to aid your quest. Boasts a 60+ hour narrative driven campaign as well as a rogue-lite dungeon mode. Free with purchase of Meta Quest 3.

Once Human

• Release Date: 7/9/2024
• Platform: PC
• Details: Post-apocalyptic multiplayer open-world survival game. Limited time demo is available on Steam.

Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine 2

• Release Date: 9/9/2024
• Platform: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC
• Details: Pre-orders are currently available. Gold Edition includes a season pass, 4-day early unlock, and Macragge’s Chosen DLC, while the Ultra Edition includes the above as well as the Ultramarines Champion Pack.

Metaphor ReFantazio– Awaken

• Release Date: 10/11/2024
• Platform: Xbox Series, PC
• Details: Katsura Hashino and Shigenori Soejima swung by Summer Game Fest to speak to this new fantasy RPG from Atlus. A great evil flows through the Kingdom of Euchronia. Stand your ground, face your fears, and unleash the dormant archetype power from within your heart.

Batman: Arkham Shadow

• Platform: Meta Quest
• Details: This is the latest entry in the Arkham series. This is a VR experience where you sneak, battle, and explore as Batman himself, voiced by Roger Craig Smith.

Street Fighter 6: Season 2

• Release Date: 2024-2025
• Platform: PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox series, PC
• Details: Capcom announces what to expect from season 2, including the following fighters: M. Bison (Summer 2024), Terry (Fall 2024), Elena (Winter 2025), and Mai (Sprin 2025).

Tears of Metal

• Details: Paper Cult brings a medieval hack-and-slash co-op roguelike where you command a Scottish battalion.

DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO

• Release Date: 10/11/2024
• Platform: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC
• Details: Relive key battle moments in the Dragon Ball saga. Release date provided for this. Pre-orders are now available, which includes a six character early unlock.

Delta Force: Hawk Ops

• Release Date: Alpha test July 2024

• Details: A free-to-play tactical shooter with multiplayer FPS extraction mode as well as a campaign inspired by Black Hawk Down.

FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves

• Release Date: Early 2025

• Details: After over 25 years, City of the Wolves in the newest addition to the Fatal Fury franchise, a beloved fighting game, developed and published by SNK.

Battle Crush

• Details: Free to play, PvP brawler with up to 30 players…all while your environment is crumbling!

Mecha BREAK

• Details: Customize and battle massive mechs in this multiplayer combat game across several amazing environments.

Blumhouse Games Line Up

• Details: Jason Blum, CEO of Blumhouse, and Louis Blain, creative lead at Blumhouse Games, introduces their gaming division and lineup of horror titles to sink your teeth into: Crisol Theater of Idols, Grave Seasons, Sleep Awake, Fear the Spotlight, and The Simulation.

Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind

• Details: World premiere of a new game with a very retro feel. Yes, a Power Rangers game by Digital Eclipse. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind contains hand-drawn pixel art with brawler game play…with shooter and racing sequences tossed in.

Deer & Boy

• Release Date: TBD
• Platform: PC
• Details: A touching, single-player debut indie game by Lifeline Games (Jayson Houdet). You play as a young boy who meets a deer, and together, you must overcome several obstacles that could changes their lives forever in this cinematic platformer.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

• Release Date: 2024
• Platform: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC
• Details: This first-person, open world, action RPG comes from Warhorse Studios. Navigate 15th century Medieval Europe as a young man named Henry in a massive journey you’ll not soon forget.

Slitterhead

• Release Date: 11/8/2024
• Platform: PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox Series, PC
• Details: This new horror game comes from the mind of Keeichiro Toyama, the creative mind behind Silent Hill. Brain-eating creatures, “Slitterheads”, must be eliminated, and you are the person for the job.

Killer Bean

• Details: Developed by a single dev–Jeff Lew–Killer Bean is an over-the-top third-person action roguelike shooter. And yes, this was a movie too back in 2008: Killer Bean Forever.

Cairn

• Details: This is a unique indie title, described as a “survival-climber”. This adventure is atmospheric and fueled with emotion as Aava ascends what seems to be an impossible challenge.

Wanderstop

• Details: Annapurna brought a misleadingly light-hearted game, Wanderstop. It is described as a “narrative-centric” cozy game about tea…and change. This is brought to you by the creator of The Stanley Parable.

Unknown 9: Awakening

• Platform: PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox Series and Xbox One, PC
• Details: This is one epic action-adventure, featuring lead female protagonist Haroona, who is a Quaestor born with the ability to travel to the Fold. As she seeks powerful hidden knowledge, she must fight a secret society with a malicious agenda.

Enotria: The Last Song

• Details: The brightest sun casts the darkest shadow…Do you know much about Italian folk lore? Explore this “soulslike” RPG where different masks alter your roles as you fell your foes. A demo is available now.

The First Descendant

• Details: This is a next-gen looter shooter with stunning visuals.

Outersloth and Among Us Show Sneak Peak

At Summer Game Fest, Victoria Tran and Forest Willard express their desire to give back to the indie community to ensure their creative success in an industry that is challenging to break through. Sonic x Shadow Generation

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

• Details: This open world survival MMO based of the Dune series gets a cinematic trailer at Summer Game Fest–The Vision of Paul Atreides.

Battle Aces

• Details: Uncapped Games brings us their debut title, Battle Aces. Defend your base and obliterate your enemy in this free-to-play, real-time-strategy game!

The Finals, Season 3

• Details: If you aren’t familiar with THE FINALS, this is a free-to-play game show centered around…fighting! This FPS allows you to traverse and manipulate virtual environments, and season three brings you to 16th century Kyoto.

Alan Wake II: Night Springs, Physical Editions

• Details: Herald of Darkness bellows as writer Sam Lake graced the Summer Game Fest stage. He announces physical editions of Alan Wake II as well as a three chapter DLC, Night Springs–both available today, June 8th. The DLC is one you shouldn’t sleep on. You play as three different characters, one from Remedy’s other IP, Control.

New World: Aeternum

• Details: This is Amazon’s open world MMO set in their own imagining of 1600s America that is making its way to consoles. Pre-order now and get the Azoth Stalker wolf mount.

Hyper Light Breaker

• Details: The highly anticipated sequel to Hyper Light Drifter is a 3D co-op action RPG with roguelite elements. Enter the Overgrowth with two friends and explore open worlds, while battling tough monsters and collecting various gear.

Palworld Sakurajima Update

Skate

• Details: Tim Robinson appears in the latest Skate trailer, developed by Full Circle. Despite its name, this is the fourth entry in the franchise. Furthermore, it’s free-to-play, has cross-play, and has cross-progression support.

Valorant Coming to Consoles

• Platform: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series
• Details: This PC, free-to-play hero FPS is finally making its way to consoles as announced by Andy Ho and Arnar Gylfason in-person at Summer Game Fest.

More of…Monster Hunter Wilds

• Details: We get a more in-depth view of Capcom’s next Monster Hunter game, Monster Hunter Wilds. Producer, Mr. Ryozo Tsujimoto joined Geoff on stage, as we also learned about cross-play across all three platforms.
