Jacob Wysocki stole almost every scene in Never Stop Blowing Up. Though this season was his first time at the Dimension 20 dome, Jacob entirely embodied both his characters, swinging between the laid-back alien-channeling, music-loving Andy ‘Dang’ Litefoot and the debonair, British everyman spy with ease. His brilliant quips were always on point, and he never shied away from manipulating the game’s inherently chaotic mechanics. In celebration of the season’s end, here are five of the top spy moments and perfectly timed one-liners that Jacob graced us with this season.
6) Femme Fatale (Dimension 20: Never Stop Blowing Up – Episode)
Femme fatales are a hallmark of spy movies. Every single love interest in the James Bond franchise is collectively known Bond Girls, regardless of where they ended up by the end of their character arc. Double crosses, which will come up again later in the list, also have a heralded place for every international person of mystery.

Dang approached a gorgeous woman at the Deluxe Royale, clearly hoping to find his Stocks Girl, and while he embraced the potential threesome with the couple’s BDSM element, Dang clearly forgot the risks that come in a world of femme fatale. Luckily, his uncle has his back, following Dang up to the penthouse and saving him when things go south, but from the approach at the bar to the very end, it’s quintessential spy even in its subversions.
5) Laser knife to a dog fight (Dimension 20: Never Stop Blowing Up – Episode 6 Meet the Santangelos)
While Hub McCann would be less than impressed with the reversed grip knife wielding that Jacob suggests is Greg Stocks’ style, Jacob’s confidence sells the stance. In response to his sudden weapon, Brennan has the Chow Chows (Snowball and Belvedere) tag out, introducing two men with a grenade whip and a two-handed German broad sword.

The sudden clapback starts a downward spiral. Jacob ramps up his knife with a laser, but he can’t fight a streak of failing rolls. Dang had the smoothest transition into the movie, so without these pivotal failures, in spite of his creative use of the genre, Dang may not have been inspired to run which means he likely wouldn’t have met Wolfman Ann and confronted his fears.
4) A role model, a squirrel-suit, and the fart that felled the FBI (Dimension 20: Never Stop Blowing Up – Episode 7 Dang Dang Revolution)
Overwhelmed and scared as the dog fight turned into an FBI raid, Dang slipped out, fighting against the part of himself that hated to abandon his friends even as anxiety nearly paralyzed him. Greg Stocks, who has never cried, does so for the first time as Dang faces his own failures, both those in the action world and those he left behind in Lake Elsinore.
His meet-up with Wolfman Ann gave him a role model. While his uncle supports him, he’s never truly had someone to look to who thought the way he did, providing him the inspiration he needed to pull himself back together. He squirrel-suits off the radio tower, crashing into the breakroom of the FBI.

Nobody expected him to go from squirrel-suit to a noxious, knock-out vacation constipation fart. Though Jacob expressed regret, he rolled with his impulse, blowing up twice and hitting a final thirteen to hit more than five above the needed roll.
3) “Going down?” (Dimension 20: Never Stop Blowing Up – Episode 3 The Deluxe Royale)

The Elevator Brawl brought all our action heroes together. Still early in the game, most of the players’ slots were D4s, but Jacob flexed his creative muscle, pulling out a knock-out gas pen and negotiating with Brennan to create one of the best animated scenes in the whole series. As the enemy fell, he dropped that two-word quip with a mischievous smirk.
2) A spy’s space-faring car-plane (Dimension 20: Never Stop Blowing Up – Episode 4 Under the Night Sun)

While Rekha’s oily shirt maneuver set off the table, resulting in a D100 role, her chaos only served to underline how creatively and grounded (for the genre) Jacob managed to remain as he took his flying car to space.
In this insane conclusion of the Long Beach 5000, Dang launches himself into space to prevent a nuclear explosion. Ejecting in the last split second, he not only wins the race but connects with Rashab, his alien friend and the being who we later find out created the Jumanji-style Never Stop Blowing Up video in world.

1) St. Jude’s Double Cross (Dimension 20: Never Stop Blowing Up – Episode 6 The Wings that Flap in the Night)
Almost every spy movie includes a double cross. Whether it’s a throwaway at the beginning that acts as a catalyst or a plot twist that completely transforms the closest relationship at the climax, double crosses hit hard, so St. Jude acting as a double agent wasn’t entirely a surprise; however, in order to get what our awesome action heroes needed, Jacob needed to play his cards close to the vest, faking his own betrayal to the Shadow Falcons and carefully maneuvering Greg Stocks’ old handler to get his cards back.

From spy gadgets to clever quips, Jacob Wysocki conquered the dome, revealing himself to not just be a master of improv but an absolute TTRPG legend. With any luck, we’ll see him back in another season.
