Dimension 20‘s Art Department ups their game every season. From the incredible projects on the walls of the dome which have gone wild since Aabria ramped things up in A Court of Fey & Flowers to the DM screen which was an explosive Los Angeles skyline this season, Rick Perry and his team never fail to amaze.
The system this season didn’t include combat maps or minis, so we weren’t able to have the reenactments they usually do. Instead, with the action movie inspired Never Stop Blowing Up, they blessed us with animations. While they were great to highlight the action element of the season, the best part was the random little guys who were added in the background, yet hardly anyone appears to be talking about them.

I’d love to know who gave us these wonderful little dudes. The credits list includes Melina Caron and Sander Goldman. Both clearly did fantastic work throughout the season, and they polished the gem that was Never Stop Blowing Up; however, I’d love to know the who, how, and why that led us to these scene stealers.

As there was some variation between animated scenes, I suspect that this collection of hilarious side characters came from either an avatar-state like-mindedness or an outright plan, but whichever it is, Dimension 20‘s Art Department has yet again gone above and beyond, inspiring me to rewatch just to catch these little details, and I can’t wait to see what they’ll do next.
Have any info on who these cuties belong to? Do you have a favorite you think should’ve appeared rather than these two? Share it in the comments below or join the conversation on Boss Rush Network’s Discord and Facebook.
