Welcome back! I return for Part two (of three) of asking what are your favorite Echoes from The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. Exploring further into Hyrule, we have a lot more to choose from. What makes for a “good” Echo anyway? Well, there are various functions they may serve such as traversal, protection, and puzzle-solving.
[Note: My list is not in any particular order]
The Water Block
The water block is the GOAT of The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, next to the bed. The cost is low, and you can reach great heights and lengths with ease–unless an enemy pops them!
Where to find: Stilled Jabul Waters

Bombfish Echo
Even though you’ll eventually obtain Link’s bombs, this Echo comes at a low cost and are convenient to blow things up. If you don’t have the energy to stay in Swordfighter Form, the Bombfish Echo is a lifesaver.
Where to find: Zora River

White Wolfos
As upgrade to the standard Wolfos, this one howls to call in more Wolfos to attack your enemies. Three for the price of one? Heck yea! Wolfos strike hard and they strike fast.
Where to find: Lanayru Temple

Freezard Echo
Man, this thing used to annoy the heck out of me in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. However, when the Freezard works for you, it will hone into your enemies and freeze them quickly. Freezing enemies can come in handy if you need to buy some time.
Where to find: Caves in the Hebra Mountains

I have one more list to go! Until then, check out part one HERE. Also, if you haven’t already, share your favorite Echoes on our Boss Rush Facebook Group or our Boss Rush Discord.
