On January 16th 2025, Nintendo officially announced the Switch 2 in a brief, first-look trailer. Included in the announcement was a Nintendo Switch 2 Experience.
Nintendo will offer Nintendo Switch 2 Experience events, where consumers can go hands-on with the new console prior to its release, in cities around the world. Below are the North America cities and dates:
- Toronto, April 25-27, 2025
- New York, April 4-6, 2025
- Los Angeles, April 11-13, 2025
- Dallas, April 25-27, 2025
In order to participate in the experience, you do need a Nintendo Account. Ticket registrations for consumers will begins on Jan. 17 at 12 p.m. PST. Check out this LINK when the time comes.
It is important to note that it is a free-to-enter, randomly selected drawing. The events in New York, Los Angeles, and Dallas are open to U.S. residents only.
