There are no more nations, only megacorps, their enforcers, and the remnants of humanity. On January 29th, DeTechtive 2112 launches on Steam, inviting players to step into the shoes of Detective Matthew Wallace.
Take on a strange case in the drizzling rain slowly drowning what was once England in this co-op isometric action-shooter adventure, developed by 5Deniz / M11 Studio and published in partnership with indie.io.
Combining stealth, action, and investigation, players will tackle fast-paced missions designed to reward creativity, strategic thinking, and collaboration.
Wallace’s world is defined by never-ending rain, washing over the crumbling remains of a once proud nation – faded Victorian splendor rotting away under the oppressive light of neon advertisements.
Ruthless megacorps rule over the cinders that escaped nuclear devastation and what remains of humanity. Wallace is one of the unlucky majority that remain but doesn’t have the benefit of corporate protection. A veteran of the last world war, he makes ends meet as a private investigator – an independent contractor supported by his intrepid secretary, Abigail.
A strange, off-the-record case sets off a chain of events that leads him up the food chain of this Victorian cyberpunk world, uncovering the dark secrets of the ruling elites – and worse yet, unexplained gaps in his own past…
“As a team based in Türkiye, we’re incredibly proud to bring DeTechtive 2112 to life. It represents years of passion and dedication to creating immersive experiences that reflect our unique perspective and creativity. For us, this is about more than making games—it’s about contributing to the growing game development scene in Türkiye and showing what our community can achieve. As a small team of 4 people, this is just the beginning of our journey, and we’re excited for people to dive into DeTechtive 2112.”

Players will navigate six atmospheric maps, including five case maps and a central hub, where solving cases and uncovering the truth blend seamlessly with the fast-paced action and strategic depth of an isometric shooter adventure. Investigative tools like detective vision help uncover hidden details and secrets, while dynamic enemy AI ensures every encounter is unpredictable and challenging.
Whether sneaking past guards or charging in with tactical gear, every mission offers opportunities to experiment with strategies, refine approaches, and piece together the mysteries of a world steeped in intrigue.
The game offers both solo play and co-op mode, which rewards close cooperation and specialization thanks to loadout mechanics.
Before each mission, players customize their loadouts by selecting two firearms from a range of options—including tasers and rocket launchers—and up to four special items, such as fragmentation grenades, and of course, the players’ own ingenuity.
This system encourages careful planning, as the chosen gear will shape the approach to each mission, whether sneaking in alone or coordinating with teammates.
DeTechtive 2112 launches on Steam on January 29th. With its blend of stealth, action, and investigation, the game invites players to uncover the secrets of a world drowned in rain and ruled by shadows.
