57:06 – Switch 2 Units Reportedly Already Shipped to North America
Rumors suggest that 383,000 Switch 2 units and 41,598 charging grips were shipped from Vietnamese manufacturer HVBG to North America in January 2025, hinting at a potential early summer launch. With HVBG reportedly holding at least 1.7 million Switch 2 screens and Nintendo aiming to produce seven million units worldwide before launch, anticipation is high. However, these claims are unverified, and fans will have to wait for official confirmation during Nintendo’s Direct on April 2nd.

1:03:42 – Switch 2 Price will Likely be $399
Analysts are predicting that the Switch 2 will be the “biggest-ever console launch” in history, with a potential price of $400 or more, despite challenges like US tariffs. Experts expect the system to sell in large quantities from day one, with a strong lineup of games including new Mario Kart, 3D Mario, Pokémon Legends, and Metroid Prime 4. Pricing estimates range from $399 to $499, and Nintendo is expected to launch 6 million to 8 million units, with more details likely to be revealed in its April broadcast.

1:17:56 – FCC Filing Suggests GameCube Controllers are Incoming
A recent FCC filing by Nintendo for a wireless Bluetooth controller with the model number ‘BEE’ has sparked speculation that the Switch 2 could support the iconic GameCube controller. Detective work on Famiboards suggests the design matches the back of the GameCube controller, and the lack of NFC functionality rules out it being a Switch 2 Pro Controller. With Nintendo’s history of reworking classic controllers for Switch Online, fans are hopeful that GameCube support could be revealed during the upcoming April Direct.
