Hulu and 20th Century Studios have revealed the final trailer for the upcoming animated film Predator: Killer of Killers, which is set to release June 6. The trailer, which lasts a little over two minutes, largely builds off of the three storylines established in the first teaser, but with some noteable new details and a potential major reveal.
Watch the trailer below:
Each of the three storylines (Viking warriors, Samurai in Feudal Japan, and a World War II Allied pilot) contain a unique Yautja, perfectly suited to hunt down these legendary human fighters. While the clip shows off some brand new Predator gadgets and weapons, the moment that will capture fans’ attention is in the final scene of the trailer.

Long-time Predator fans may remember the NECA toy line inspired by the original Kenner toys. The Predator Clan Leader, also known as the Supreme Leader and Grand Elder, possesses mechanical tendrils that are said to be sentient beings under his control. (For a detailed explanation, check out this resource.) A film like Predator: Killer of Killers is likely to expand on what fans know about Yautja culture and social structure, so it’s entirely possible this individual at the end of the trailer is none other than the Grand Elder, given the cape-like tendrils look so similar to the mechanical ones from the NECA figurine.

Another intriguing possibility is that this Yautja is wearing a “cape” of Xenomorph tails, signifying its status as a powerful warrior capable of killing many kiande amedha or “hard meat”. This would be yet another indicator that Disney and 20th Century Studios is serious about bringing back the AVP-verse and canonizing a crossover between the two species.
