In an era filled with layoffs and closures, we have an announcement a brand-new studio! Former VP of Operations at Blizzard Entertainment and former production director in several Guitar Hero games, Simon Ebejer, will lead RedOctane Games, with a focus on reviving the rhythm gaming genre. RedOctane Games is serious about modernizing and re-popularizing rhythm games, stacking its team with those experienced with DJ Hero and Guitar Hero and more. In fact, they already are working on their debut title and hope to announce it later this year.
