Genshin Impact is hosting a new fan creations event in celebration of their five-year anniversary. The contest will be running until October 10, 2025 23:59 (UTC+8). There are several categories with several prizes. 

500 travelers who participated in the competition will receive 100 primogems. For the most popular video videos, 200 winners will be selected and receive 500 primogems. Out of ten winners, the most creative illustrations will receive 5,000 primogems. The biggest prize goes to the best illustrations in which 10,000 primogems will be given to five submissions. 

To participate is easy. Travelers simply need to share their illustrations, videos, or photos to the “Happy 5th Anniversary, Genshin Impact” thread available on HoYoLAB which is entirely separate from the actual contest details page. 

There are a few regulations that must be followed in order to win the illustrations category. To start with, the illustrations include three categories: HoYoLAB Avatars, HoYoLAB Comment Decorations, and HoYoLAB Profile Page Backgrounds. It can be in any style travelers prefer but it does need to relate to the Fifth Anniversary of Genshin Impact. 

Furthermore, entries have to meet the size requirements. Any submissions that do not fall in the requirements will be ineligible for the reward. For avatars, it has to be 318 x 318 pixels in a PNG format. The Comment Decoration has to be 384 x 96 pixels in PNG format as well. The Background has to include two versions. They can be in either PNG or GIF format, but they have to be 1125 x 720 pixels and 2000 x 300 pixels. 

The entries for this contest must be new work, not something that has been uploaded before. It also requires a high degree of completion meaning that unfinished sketches, photoshopped work, or collages will not be considered for the prize. 

HoYoverse is also asking for travelers to submit their progress in creating their work their posts. Any posts that do not include these in the form of pictures or videos will be ineligible to the prize.
