Nintendo Confirms Next Nintendo Direct — Here’s When to Watch

2–3 minutes

Nintendo announced on the Nintendo Today! App that a livestream Nintendo Direct will happen this Friday, September 12th at 9 A.M. EST. It will be an hour-long presentation of reveals.

We already seen two Nintendo Directs in August, in the form of a Partnership showcase and the Indie World Direct. This one will be the “official” or “main” Direct, two weeks before the Tokyo Game Show. In this presentation, we assume we will get the official release date for Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, as the game has recently been rated in other countries, and some advertising posters went up early before being taken down.

Last Month, Nintendo was at PAX West and had demo stations for Pokémon Legends Z-A and Kirby Air Riders, along with Borderlands 4, Final Fantasy VII: Integrade, Hollow Knight: Silksong, Hades 2, and Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition. Some of these titles might also be in the direct, but it is not confirmed at the moment.

With Pokémon Legends Z-A planned for October 16th and Kirby Air Riders planned for November 20th, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond may receive a date following those games this year. The Legend Of Zelda: Age of Imprisonment doesn’t have a release date yet, but it may also appear in this Nintendo Direct. It’s uncertain what unannounced first-party Nintendo games may also be coming in the future, but this latest Direct may provide us with an answer.

What games are you looking forward to in this direct? Let us know in the comments or in our Discord.
