Netflix has been working on an adaptation of a well-known franchise: Resident Evil. The project was initially announced back in 2020 at the Tokyo Games Show; however, we now have a sneak peek via a trailer.
While video games and cinema don’t always mix well together, there’s a lot of hope in this TV series. Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness will be a CG-animated serialized drama featuring Leon and Claire, voiced by Nick Apostolides and Stephanie Panisello–the same folks from Resident Evil 2 Remake.
The trailer for Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness shows Claire and Leon reuniting as a conspiracy theory begins to unravel after another outbreak. The graphics are amazing!

The series officially arrives on Netflix July 8th, 2021.
