Capcom released a new gameplay trailer for Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin at E3 today, and with it we also got more details on the game’s pre-order bonuses and Amiibo bonuses, along with upcoming crossover features with Monster Hunter Rise.
Three new Amiibo are releasing alongside Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin. Each Amiibo will unlock a layered armor set for the main character to wear. The Ena and Tsukino Amiibos are priced at $19.99 each while the Razewing Ratha is priced a little higher at $22.99.
Pre-orders for the Deluxe Edition of Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin will net gamers a ton of in-game goodies, including the Kuan Coat for Ena, Layered Razewing Armor Alpha and Beta, the Spiky Nergal hairstyle, Nergigante and Pukei-Pukei Costumes for Navirou, and
two sticker sets.
If that wasn’t enough, details were given about the upcoming crossover DLC event between Stories 2 and Monster Hunter Rise.
In Monster Hunter Rise, players can receive the Tsukino Palico Layered Armor on June 18 as an Event Quest Reward, and use their Monster Hunter Stories 2 save data to earn the “Rider” hunter armor set. Update 3.1 for Monster Hunter Rise will add downloadable event quests like the Almudron: Fashion Victim quest, Fooled in the Flooded Forest quest, Rampage: Muddi Gras, Heart of a Hero, An Icy Blade So Bright, and new cosmetics and additional DLC.
And in the most exciting bit of news for the Monster Hunter Stories 2 segment of the show, players will be able to use the Palamute buddy (made famous currently in Monster hunter Rise) as a Monstie companion in Stories 2.

Monster Hunter Stories 2 releases July 9 on Nintendo Switch and PC and pre-orders are open now. Monster Hunter Rise is out now for Nintendo Switch.
