ICYM: Square Enix Presents E3 2021 Wrap-Up

3–5 minutes

Continuing from the March presentation earlier this year, Sqaure Enix E3 2021 showed some new titles along with updates for current games. They also announced some new content for mobile. With that being said, let’s jump into the recap.

The first title they revealed was Guardians Of The Galaxy. Developed by Eidos Montreal, the single player story campaign takes Starlord, Groot, Rocket, Gamora, and Drax The Destroyer, on various adventures through the galaxy. You’ll make choices which can affect the way you go into a mission. Check out the trailer for more details. Guardians Of The Galaxy will release on PS4|PS5. Xbox Series X|S. Xbox One. and PC on October 26. You can pre-order game now.

Next up came a big surprise, as Final Fantasy 1-6 is getting a “pixel perfect” remastered edition. Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster will contain the games from the NES and SNES era. This collection will only be on Steam and mobile at this time. Fans of the series hope it comes to console but at this time, you’ll be able to play these games on the go. Check out the trailer below.

Square Enix released a new animated trailer for the Legend Of Mana remaster coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Steam on June 24. Watch this astounding trailer that will wow you in movement.

Next up was Marvel’s Avengers and they showed the next plan from their road map for the game. This month is the release of The Cosmic Cube. You’ll fight new enemies, destroy particular cubes, and fight the supreme scientist to save the future. Along with this announcement, in the summer and beyond, you also get Wasteland Patrol. In this content, you experience a new patrol mode, search clues to stop the coming apocalypse, randomized and replay boss fights, and receive rewards for exploration.

They also showed the trailer for the Black Panther DLC coming later this year at no additional cost. Black Panther: War For Wankada will come to last and current gen consoles and PC. Watch the trailer in action.

Next up was Hitman Sniper: The Shadows coming to mobile through the Apple Store and Google Play Store this year. No game play reveal at this moment but watch the trailer to get a ideal of the craziness you can cause in the game.

Nier: Reincarnation was the next title shown that you can pre-register through the Apple Store and Google Play Store. The trailer is short but looks fantastic in motion.

War Of The Vision: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius x Final Fantasy will have a limited collaboration from June 16 to July 13. You’re also guarantee free 10x Summons once a day and up to 70 summons from June 16 to June 22. Check out the trailer.

They also showed more of Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier for iOS and Android. Coming worldwide this year. Take a glimpse of the latest trailer.

The newest trailer for Babylon’s Fall has arrived, and the game does not disappoint. Developed by PlatinumGames, some of the Square Enix team speak about the game and go in detail of what players can expect.

Check out the story trailer also.

Life Is Strange: True Colors had a full presentation about the game and Life Is Strange remaster that will arrive this year. You can pre-order Life Is Strange with a September 30 release date. Life Is Strange: True Colors will release September 10 with an Ultimate Edition available also. Watch the trailer for more information and game play for Life Is Strange: True Colors.

The final reveal for the showcase was Strangers Of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origins. This action pact adventure is developed by Team Ninja. Planned for 2022 release for PS4|PS5, Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC, the fighting has that action style gameplay they’re known for and while we got a small glimpse into the game, there’s so much we don’t know about at the moment. What’s great is that there is a demo for PlayStation 5 that you can check out. Watch the trailer below to see it in action.

That was all that was shown for the show and although some games weren’t here that people expected, Square Enix didn’t come up short with the games they presented in this showcase. To see everything that Square Enix have to show, watch the full presentation below.
