This morning, at a new Pokémon Presents, The Pokémon Company and Game Freak showed off additional footage and new information for Pokémon Legends: Arceus. The game was initially announced on February 26, 2021, as part of a previous Pokémon Presents event, as the first fully open world Pokémon game.
Today fans learned more details about the game including the town which serves as your base of operation, Jubilife Village, and the surrounding Hisui region, which later becomes known as the Sinnoh region, the location of the upcoming Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl remakes. The new trailer included new forms of Pokémon such as Wyrdeer and Basculegion, which are mounts the player can ride. The presentation went over a number of tasks the player will engage in, characters they will encounter, all the while showing the various open environments of the region for exploration.
