I’m the kind of person who likes to match his hobbies to the time of year. In addition to playing video games, I love watching movies. So, for example, when Christmas comes around, I love watching The Santa Clause, Elf, Home Alone— all the Christmas classics. I’ve recently been doing the same thing with video games. When the first glimpse of summer comes, I like to play a level or two of Super Mario Sunshine. Now that we are in October and Halloween is right around the corner, what is your go-to spooky game?
I’m not big into horror. In fact, earlier this year I tried out Resident Evil: Village and couldn’t play more than 20 minutes in the middle of the day with all the lights turned on and the windows open. I’m a big ole scaredy cat. I’m also a bit of a controdiction, because one of my all-time favorite games is Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem and that game is messed up when it comes to jump scares. (Seriously, if you’ve never played it, you absolutely should).
