Respawn, the developers behind APEX Legends and Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order, is removing the game that put them on the map from sale: Titanfall.
Titanfall released on March 11, 2014, as the first major exclusive for the Xbox One. Though it had lower than desired sales, mostly because of the low initial sales of the console, the original Titanfall and its sequel are still beloved by fans to this day.
Titanfall will also be removed from subscription services like GamePass Ultimate and EA Play on March 1, 2022. There is good news for players who already own the game however. Confirmed in a tweet, Respawn confirmed that they will be keeping servers online for the time being, just in case you want to drop into a match.
Though Titanfall 3 has not been confirmed, Respawn did say the “Universe will Continue” in a tweet.
Respawn is currently working on new seasonal content for APEX Legends, which in of itself is part of the Titanfall Universe, and an unannounced sequel to Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order. Are you a fan of Titanfall? Would you want another Titanfall game?
