UPDATE: The Rock has turned The Island upside down in the Fortnite: Chapter 2 The End event. He is playing The Foundation, leader of The Seven, an organization dedicated to keeping the Imagined Order from abusing the nexus of all reality.
The Foundation has been a significant part of Fortnite Chapter 2, especially in The End Event, saving Jonesy from the Cube Queen’s destruction.
Original Story: Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is arguably the biggest star on the planet. He’s built himself up from WWE superstar to one of the highest paid actors in the world. He’s even had a hand in video games, staring in the Spy Hunter reboot and the movie tie-ins to The Scorpion King and Jumanji.
Now, the biggest name in Hollywood is taking on the biggest name in video games. In a recent ad for his ZOA brand of energy drink, The Rock teased his involvement in Fortnite: Chapter 3, using the exact wordage that has been used in recent ads for the game, phrases like “zero point,” “higher ground,” “foundation,” and “the universe.”
As you can see in the above video via Twitter, as The Rock reaches into the fridge to grab his branded beverage, the Foundation helmet is sitting inside. Fortnite‘s Chapter 2 “The End” one-time event begins at 4PM Eastern Time.
