When Fortnite‘s world ending event happened last year, Epic Games braved the internet mob and shut down the game for two days and relaunching their popular battle royale as Fortnite Chapter 2. It seems there is a similar event coming on December 4, 2021. In this new limited event entitled “The End,” the Cube Queen has waged war against the players on the Island and there will be consequences.
The End is letting up to 16 players to queue up together and enter the event 30 minutes prior to start time. This event is a one-time instanced event, meaning after you complete it, you won’t be able to go back and play it again. Players who complete this event will receive a new themed loading screen and wrap. Also, if you’re looking to jump back out of the battle buss to catch up, now is the time to do it.
What comes next? Well, we don’t know exactly. What we do know is that this seemingly is going to launch Chapter 3, meaning a new island variation, a new Battle Pass, and new skins to earn or purchase, including Boba Fett, who has been rumored for a long time.
