LEGO Sonic Green Hill Zone Set is Now Available

LEGO has officially released the Sonic Green Hill Zone Set from LEGO Ideas this week, inviting new and old fans alike to build one of the most iconic stages in the blue blur’s history.

The set was created by Viv Grannell, a 24-year-old from the UK, and designed by LEGO engineer and designer Sam Johnson. The set went into production after the set hit 10,000 fan votes. There are 1,125 pieces and five mini figures in the set, including Dr. Eggman and Sonic himself.

The description is as follows:

“Just about anyone who has enjoyed video games on any level in the last 30 years, knows and loves Sonic — and has probably sped through the unforgettable Green Hill Zone with him. We have designed this set to be just as colorful and fun as the in-game version of The Green Hill Zone, then filled it with lots of easter eggs and even prizes to help fans enjoy some of their most beloved gaming icons in a brand-new way.”
