Respawn’s Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order was a unanimous hit, garnering praise from all corners of gaming culture. Cal Kestis and his friends gave everyone a proper 3D Metroidvania that felt inspired and meaningful without feeling overwhelming. It’s fresh look at events taking place between Episodes III and IV seamlessly merged the prequel and original trilogy’s tech, locations, and more without feeling forced (pardon the pun).

Now, the Jedi Padawan may be making his grand return, as industry insider Jeff Grub revealed on his Giant Bomb show Grubbsnax that the sequel may be revealed before E3 2022, stating that EA and Respawn want to show of the game “in a significant way” before the show. My personal guess would be on Star Wars Day, May 4th.

There has been no official word from EA or Respawn about Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order 2, but based off of the game’s success and EA’s recent commitment to single player experiences, this announcement doesn’t seem far fetched in any way. EA still holds the exclusive rights to release Star Wars games until 2023, so expect to see Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order 2 to release sometime in the next twelve to eighteen months.
