For all of you New Lights out there, Xur is the Exotic weapon and armor merchant who travels to a different location every week in Destiny 2. His inventory consists of one Exotic weapon, one Exotic armor piece for each class, an Exotic engram that will grant players a non-quest related weapon or armor piece, and an Exotic Cipher quest. Starting with Beyond Light‘s Season of the Lost, Xur has also added Legendary items to his inventory, usually weapons and armor from seasons’ past or old event sets. All items he has for sale will be listed here complete with perks, stat rolls, and any other important information needed for Guardians to make their purchasing decisions. Starting with Season of [REDACTED] in The Witch Queen, Xur will also add vaulted mission based Exotics to his pool.

Here is what Xur is Selling This Week
Two-Tailed Fox | Void Rocket Launcher | 29 Legendary Shards
Two-Tailed Fox is a weird one. On one hand, it sounds incredibly powerful, as its main perk Play with Your Prey fires two rockets at once one Solar to deal damage and one Void to suppress, both with tracking. But the catch is depending on how balanced rocket launchers are in a given season, it won’t matter. This is still a weapon worth keeping in your Vault until the class of weapons are viable in the season. This weapon is for sale a lot, so don’t feel obligated to purchase if you want something else.
Shards of Galanor | Hunter Gauntlets | 23 Legendary Shards
Shards of Galanor has been through some significant nerfs recently, so they aren’t as desirable as they once were. Sharp Edges, the main perk of this Exotic, refunds Super energy dependent on how many blades hit upon activating Blade Barrage. The nerfs have capped the refund significantly, but those who still enjoy using Blade Barrage in PvP will find some enjoyment out of it. Xur’s stat roll is 65 total.
Lion Rampant | Titan Boots | 23 Legendary Shards
Lion Rampant is very good in certain instances. A lot of Titans use these during jumping puzzles like in Vault of Glass or previously the Leviathan because of its main perk, Jump Jets, which allows better mobility in the air. These are a good Exotic to keep around just in case. Xur’s stat roll this week is 64 total.
Kranstein Armlets | Warlock Gauntlets | 23 Legendary Shards
These guantlets for Warlocks are very powerful. Its Vampire’s Caress perk will recharge a large amount of health for melee kills as well as heal the player over time. It is an incredibly useful perk in PvE, especially when added to strong builds. They’re also very useful in specific PvP situations. If you do not own these, buy them. Xur’s stat roll this week is 63 total.
Other Exotic Items:
One Exotic engram can be purchased for 97 Legendary Shards. A second engram can be purchased with an Exotic Cypher, in which only one can be carried at a time.
The Exotic Cypher Quest is free, but Guardians can not pick up the quest if they already have one in their inventory. Exotic Cyphers can be used to purchase one Exotic engram from Xur or be used in the kiosk with other materials to purchase Exotics from past expansions. This week’s quest is to complete 21 of the following: Strikes, win Crucible matches, or win Gambit matches. By finishing the quest, you will earn an Exotic Cipher.
Xur’s Legendary Inventory
Every week, Xur also has a selection of Legendary gear. Each piece sells for 1000 Glimmer and 50 Legendary Shards. This is a pretty steep price for this gear, so only purchase something if you find a god roll or really need a boost in stats and can afford to grab something.
