For all of you New Lights out there, Xur is the Exotic weapon and armor merchant who travels to a different location every week in Destiny 2. His inventory consists of one Exotic weapon, one Exotic armor piece for each class, an Exotic engram that will grant players a non-quest related weapon or armor piece, and an Exotic Cipher quest. Starting with Beyond Light‘s Season of the Lost, Xur has also added Legendary items to his inventory, usually weapons and armor from seasons’ past or old event sets. All items he has for sale will be listed here complete with perks, stat rolls, and any other important information needed for Guardians to make their purchasing decisions. Starting with Season of [REDACTED] in The Witch Queen, Xur will also add vaulted mission based Exotics to his pool.

This week, Xur is in the Tree in Watcher’s Grave on Nessus.
Graviton Lance | Void Pulse Rifle | 29 Legendary Shards
Graviton Lance is one of the weapons you should pick up, especially now before The Witch Queen’s release. Black Hole only allows the weapon to fire two bullets instead of the typical 3 or 4 from a normal pulse rifle, but one of the bullets does high damage. The perk that is really affective however is Cosmology, causing kills by the weapon to make an enemy explode, spawning homing void missiles that seek out new targets. With all of the void buffs and changes coming, Graviton Lance will once again be key to your arsenal.
Lucky Raspberry | Exotic Hunter Chest Piece | 23 Legendary Shards
Lucky Raspberry is a piece of chest armor for Arc Hunters, though there are many better pieces to equip at this point. The main perk Probability Matrix enhances the Arc Bolt grenade and giving it a chance to reset after dealing damage and causing it to chain more effectively. The cooldown also resets on a full chain, which is useful. Xur’s stat roll is 63 total.
Mask of the Quiet One | Exotic Titan Helmet | 23 Legendary Shards
Though it can be worn by any class, this Titan Exotic may find a new life with Sentinel Titans when Void 3.0 hits. Its Dreaded Visage perk grants energy to grenades, melee, and class ability when you take damage. Kills with Void abilities will instantly trigger health regeneration, which is incredibly useful in PvE activities. Xur’s stat roll is 65 total.
Winter’s Guile | Exotic Warlock Guantlets | 23 Legendary Shards
This is definitely one of the lower tiered exotics for Warlocks. The Warlord’s Sigil perk is hardly worth the price unless you are trying to collect all of the Exotic pieces, as it only increases melee damage after a melee kill for a short period. Xur’s stat roll is 61 total.
Other Exotic Items:
One Exotic engram can be purchased for 97 Legendary Shards. A second engram can be purchased with an Exotic Cypher, in which only one can be carried at a time.
The Exotic Cypher Quest is free, but Guardians can not pick up the quest if they already have one in their inventory. Exotic Cyphers can be used to purchase one Exotic engram from Xur or be used in the kiosk with other materials to purchase Exotics from past expansions. This week’s quest is to complete 21 of the following: Strikes, win Crucible matches, or win Gambit matches. By finishing the quest, you will earn an Exotic Cipher.
Xur’s Legendary Inventory
Every week, Xur also has a selection of Legendary gear. Each piece sells for 1000 Glimmer and 50 Legendary Shards. This is a pretty steep price for this gear, so only purchase something if you find a god roll or really need a boost in stats and can afford to grab something.
