Microsoft always seems to make a big splash when they announce what games are coming to Xbox Game Pass, having at least one major title every announcement. Beyond having Xbox Game Studios games day one, Game Pass has been great at providing major third party games on day one as well or within the first few months of release, such as Outriders, Marvel’s Avengers, MLB The Show, and Back 4 Blood.
This week, Xbox announced another blockbuster game hitting the service in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy along with a slew of new titles. Guardians of the Galaxy is one of the best story driven game of 2021, following Star Lord and his crew as they discover the secrets of a secret organization (I will avoid spoilers). The story and character interactions are the biggest highlights of this adventure, though the combat is pretty great too after it opens up. In a recent report, Square-Enix said that the title underperformed initially, but had a long tail after launch.

It’s great to see this game get a second life on Game Pass, as it is a title both huge Marvel fans and novices alike can enjoy. Will you be checking out Guardians of the Galaxy when it hits Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass on March 10? Let us know in the comments section or on our Discord!
