2–3 minutes

Here it is! The highly anticipated Final Fantasy VII 25th Anniversary Special! The celebration was first announced via Twitter last week, stating that while it will only be about 10 minutes long, plenty of information would be given.

Things began with the news that Final Fantasy VII Remake: Intergrade will arrive on Steam on June 17, 2022, and will also be compatible with the newly released Steam Deck handheld console.

Square Enix also provided an update with the mobile game Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier. A new third season of the competitive shooter was shown, highlighting a new map called “Midgar Plateside.” A new powerful weapon called the “Serpent Launcher” was also revealed, along with new materia and fighter styles. More details, including a release date, will be announced “later this summer.”

Another mobile title, Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis, was also presented, giving fans the most comprehensive look at the game yet. Square Enix showcased numerous scenes from the beautiful “demake,” which aims to tie together the entire Final Fantasy VII experience. A closed beta test for iOS/Android will launch sometime later this year.

His story will be told this winter on PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Switch, and PC.
