FPS RPG Atomic Heart Release Date Revealed With New Trailer

Long anticipated first-person shooter action-RPG Atomic Heart now has an official release date thanks to a brand new trailer.

Developed by Mundfish, gamers can expect to travel to this mysterious alternate reality world when it launches February 21, 2023 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S. The game will also be available day one on Game Pass.

Atomic Heart is set in a fictional version of the 1950s in which the Soviet Union has developed robotics and other advanced technologies that have since turned against their creators. In addition, experiments conducted in secret have accidentally created power mutants, who have escaped captivity thanks to the robots, and now threaten the entire globe.

Inspired by games such as Fallout, Rage, and Bioshock, players will attempt to bring peace to the Soviet Union by battling these horrific enemies in fast paced FPS shootouts that are amplified by your mutant abilities. The game seems to adopt a sinister yet comical tone, much like the game’s that have inspired it.

Mundfish is a game developer from Cyprus that was founded in 2017 by a team of only 4 people. Since then, they have ballooned to a much larger crew with employees all around the world. Atomic Heart will be their first game.
